This position is to provide engineering experience for a qualified student nearing graduation. Intern will work on routine assignments as a member of a project team, under the technical supervision of a professional engineer. Exposure to a cross section of project types will assist in selecting a career path. Student intern will learn how to design mechanical or electrical systems for new or renovated buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic engineering tasks for a variety of project types.
- Assist in miscellaneous engineering assignments, such as site surveys and construction observations.
- Use computer tools necessary for our business, such as AutoCAD and HVAC load calculation software, and other technical software.
Work Areas:
Student Intern will be assigned at various times during the internship to projects in Commercial, Education, Healthcare, and Science and Technology business sectors.
Education:
Minimum of two or three years of course work in an accredited mechanical or electrical engineering college.
Skills/Job Knowledge:
Understanding of engineering principles/Technical problem-solving skills. Computer and Equipment Skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook.
