Since 2010, Dunham has been an engineering partner for this medical device manufacturer. Our partnership includes engineering design, studies and assessments, commissioning, criteria packages, construction administration, and project management. These projects include cleanroom, laboratory, office space, kitchen and cafeteria, and mission critical spaces.

Project Spotlight: Lithium Battery Manufacturing Dry Room

Dunham provided mechanical and electrical engineering through construction for a 17,000 SF addition that includes a 10,000 SF Dry Room. The project included a new OCV room, gowning room, office space and entry lobby. The dry room utilizes active desiccant dryer ducted to ceiling-mounted diffusers to maintain the dry room environment (0.6% RH @ 70F). The design included bulk process gas distribution from mains to ceiling utility plates and snow melt system. The mechanical design included a 380-ton chilled water plant with N+1 redundancy using air-cooled chillers with integral fluid coolers for free chilled water production. Space heating was provided by a 2.7 million BTU heating water plant consisting of N+1 redundant gas fired boilers and associated primary-secondary pumps.
