With the goal of enhancing healthcare services in the region, Riverwood Healthcare Center completed a two-year expansion project that added a new 72,000 SF surgery department. The new space doubled their operating rooms from three to six, and incorporated state-of-the-art robotics and advanced surgical technologies. Additionally, the project features two large procedure rooms, three endoscopy suites, 25 pre-op and recovery rooms, a pos-anesthesia care unity, and a sterile processing department. The addition also has dedicated space for outpatient clinic care for general surgery, urology, and ear, nose and throat services. A new front entrance and lobby support the surgical program and create anew, more inviting entrance to the hospital.
