Non-profit “Home Away from Home” Expansion
Dunham provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for an expansion of the existing Ronald McDonald House of Rochester. The project includes a three-level, 42,000 SF addition, a 12,750 parking structure, 5,000 SF outdoor play area, and an additional 5,000 SF of remodeled space in the existing facility. The addition added 30 guest rooms to the Rochester house, bringing the total number of rooms to 70. New kitchen and dining spaces, games and craft rooms, offices, a caretaker apartment, a multi-purpose room, and multiple lounges create a house that has nearly doubled in size and is the largest in the state.
