The goal of the project was to provide a flexible working environment with access to transportation. Dunham provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for the fit-up of an 11,800 SF office space located on the 3rd floor of the IDS Center, overlooking the crystal court. The office was designed to be a flexible, open workspace where the 65 staff members are not assigned desks. Each day employees can work in different seating configurations across the firm’s 120 chairs and 50 workstations. The design had a heavy emphasis on sustainability and health. This focus included utilizing the existing concrete floor as opposed to carpet, as well as leaving the ceiling exposed and unpainted.
