To make the most significant impact on energy costs and carbon footprint, we dive deep into analyzing HVAC alternatives and renewable energy systems. Decoupling space loads from ventilation loads with chilled beams or fan coils & DOAS systems can perform dramatically better than standard VAV reheat systems on specific building types. Geothermal heating is often the most cost-effective way to fully electrify heating in northern climates. This solution can lead to the elimination of Scope 1 Greenhouse gas emissions and impressive combined Scope 1 & Scope 2 reductions. We are very experienced in B3/SB2030 and LEED IDC & BDC programs and documentation requirements. Our staff have worked on over 30 B3/SB2030 projects and over 30 LEED projects. Dunham energy modelers have completed a LEED energy model that maximized Optimize Energy Points with complex, exceptional calculation methods.
